Namibia 

I visited Namibia in September 2017 as a volunteer at the N/a'an ku sê Foundation www.naankuse.com whose mission is to conserve the land, cultures and wildlife of Namibia.  As part of this mission they support the San Bushman people and run the Clever Cubs School for the local San Bushman children. naankuse.com/project/clever-cub-school/.  N/a’an ku sê Clever Cubs School opened in 2009 after a need arose for the education of San Bushmen children. Fewer than 1 in 5 San children attend primary school due to financial difficulties and social prejudices. Discrimination of the San prevents many children from receiving adequate education and extends so far into them not being accepted into mainstream schools.  These photos were taken one morning at the school.  The children were very enthusiastic about having their photo taken and made great models!  Click on each photo to see the full image.
