I have been snapping away since I was given my first camera, a Brownie Starmite.  I don't think any of my photos from all those years ago have survived but the camera was a source of fascination for me.

I went to Kingston Poly and my degree was in Fine Art Printmaking.  It included some photography - which was then all film and dark room.  Although I have taken many many photos over the years I think I was really waiting for the digital age. I love the immediacy of it although my biggest failing is taking too many photos!

I have a passion for wildlife and birds but I can't say that I limit myself to this area.  In complete contrast to the wild world I love ultra modern buildings and the geometry and uniformity of them.  There is beauty all around and if I see it I will take the shot.

I hope you enjoy looking at my site.  If you want to contact me please do so on claire@clairecarrollphotography.com.
